There are seven models in the range from the 16 tonne, 108 up to the largest, the new 42 tonnes, 518ESC with 18 metre reach. Solmec only manufacture rehandlers, so the machines are not simply adapted excavators. Virtually all are made with wheels but if requested we can supply them with tracks. Being manufactured with only rehandling in mind means that with excellent lift to weight ratios, machines can work unstabilised.

Hydraulically operated high lift cabs give excellent all round vision, driver comfort and safety. Powered by Deutz engines, a heavy duty chassis with Linde/Rexroth load sensing hydraulics and extra large slew ring gives the Solmec machines a more imposing, heavier footprint for the most arduous of applications.
